Steps to cancel Costco Membership
Of the three countries we check, offered in United States and United Kingdom (as of September 25, 2026).
- To just stop the renewal, sign in on costco.com, open Account, then Renew Membership, and turn off Auto Renewal.
- To cancel and get a refund, go to the membership counter at any Costco warehouse, where the refund is immediate.
- Or call Costco Member Services (US: 1-800-774-2678). Only the primary member can cancel.
- Auto Renewal charges on the 1st of your renewal month. If it has already charged, Costco’s auto-renewal refund form can reverse it.
