How to cancel BritBox

Steps to cancel BritBox

Of the three countries we check, offered in United States (as of September 25, 2026).

1. Use a computer (the phone site may push you into the app): sign in at britbox.com, click your name at the top right and choose My Account.
2. Under Plan & Billing choose Cancel subscription. When asked if you are sure, pick ‘I still want to cancel’ and finish the prompts.
3. Do it at least 24 hours before the renewal date. The confirmation email shows your last day of access, and uninstalling the app does not cancel.
4. Signed up through Apple (App Store or Apple TV Channels), Amazon Prime Video Channels, Roku or Google Play? BritBox cannot cancel it: cancel with that provider (for Apple, iOS Settings › [your name] › Subscriptions).

Paying through Apple?

If you subscribed in the iPhone or iPad app, Apple may bill you instead of the provider. Then you cancel in your iPhone or iPad settings, not with the provider and not inside the app.

Canceling an App Store subscription, per Apple

1. Open Settings and tap your name
2. Tap Subscriptions
3. Choose the subscription you want to end
4. Tap Cancel Subscription

For free trials, Apple advises canceling at least 24 hours before the trial ends.
