Delete your data from Presence Studio
Presence Studio works without a user account. Here is how to delete your data yourself—and how to ask us to delete any data we hold.

In short
Your content lives on your device or—if you turn on sync—also in your private iCloud storage. We have no access to this data, so you can delete it yourself, completely and at any time, without having to contact us.
- To delete data on iPhone and iPad, delete the app. On a Mac, one more step is needed.
- To delete data in iCloud, use the iCloud settings of your Apple Account.
- The only data we usually hold is email you have sent us—and you can ask us to delete that at any time, too.
Delete data on your device
On iPhone and iPad, deleting an app also removes all data it has stored locally on the device:
- On the Home Screen, touch and hold the app icon until the menu opens.
- Tap Remove App, then Delete App.
- Confirm with Delete.
Alternatively, go to Settings → General → iPhone Storage (or iPad Storage), select the app and tap Delete App. Note that “Offload App” keeps your data.
On a Mac
When you delete an app on a Mac—for example by moving it from the Applications folder to the Trash—only the app itself is removed. The data it stored locally stays in your user folder. To delete it as well:
- Quit the app.
- In the Finder, choose Go → Go to Folder… and enter ~/Library/Containers.
- Move the “Presence Studio” folder to the Trash. The Finder shows it under the app’s name.
- Move the app from the Applications folder to the Trash, then empty the Trash.
If you used iCloud sync, also delete the data in iCloud (see below); otherwise the app downloads it again if you reinstall it. Exact labels may vary slightly between macOS versions.
Delete data in iCloud
If you used iCloud sync, your data is also stored in your private iCloud storage. It is best to delete the app on all devices where it is installed first, and then delete the data in iCloud:
- Open Settings and tap your name at the top.
- Tap iCloud, then Manage Storage (or Manage Account Storage, depending on your iOS version).
- Select Presence Studio and tap the option to delete its data from iCloud.
On a Mac, you will find the same overview under System Settings → [your name] → iCloud → Manage. Exact labels may vary slightly between operating system versions.
Cancel subscriptions
Deleting an app or its data does not cancel an active subscription. Subscriptions are billed exclusively by the respective store; we cannot cancel them for you.
App Store: cancel under Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions; on a Mac, under App Store → [your name] → Account Settings → Subscriptions → Manage (Apple’s instructions(opens in a new tab)).
Ask us to delete data
None of our apps offers a user account, so there is no account you would need to delete. If you would like us to delete data we hold—usually just emails you have sent us—write to info@aploapps.com and include:
- the name of the app (Presence Studio)
- the email address you used to contact us
- optionally, a short description of your request
You’ll hear back from us—usually within two business days—with the next steps, and we confirm once the deletion is complete. We may ask you to verify that the request really comes from you. Any data we must keep by law is restricted from further use until the retention period ends, then deleted.
To learn more about which data we process in the first place, see the privacy policy for Presence Studio.
