Delete your data from Ayra

Ayra will work without a user account. Here is how to delete your data yourself once it is out⁠—and how to ask us to delete any data we hold.

In short

Ayra is not available yet. The following steps apply from its release.

Your content lives on your device. We have no access to this data, so you can delete it yourself, completely and at any time, without having to contact us.

  • To delete data on iPhone, delete the app.
  • Your measurements in Apple Health stay there; you revoke the app’s access in the Health app.
  • The only data we usually hold is email you have sent us⁠—and you can ask us to delete that at any time, too.

Delete data on your device

On iPhone, deleting an app also removes all data it has stored locally on the device:

  1. On the Home Screen, touch and hold the app icon until the menu opens.
  2. Tap Remove App, then Delete App.
  3. Confirm with Delete.

Alternatively, go to Settings → General → iPhone Storage, select the app and tap Delete App. Note that “Offload App” keeps your data.

On Apple Watch

If you also use Ayra on Apple Watch, remove the app there too⁠—from the Apple Watch Home Screen or in the Watch app on your iPhone. Apple describes the exact steps in the Apple Watch User Guide; labels may vary between watchOS versions.

Apple Health access

Ayra will only read measurements from Apple Health and will not store anything there. If you delete the app, your measurements therefore stay in the Health app. You can revoke the app’s access at any time:

  • in the Health app: tap your profile picture at the top, then under Privacy tap Apps, or
  • in your iPhone’s Settings under Privacy & Security → Health.

Exact labels may vary between iOS versions.

Ask us to delete data

None of our apps offers a user account, so there is no account you would need to delete. If you would like us to delete data we hold⁠—usually just emails you have sent us, or your address for the launch notification⁠—write to info@aploapps.com and include:

  • the name of the app (Ayra)
  • the email address you used to contact us
  • optionally, a short description of your request

You’ll hear back from us⁠—usually within two business days⁠—with the next steps, and we confirm once the deletion is complete. We may ask you to verify that the request really comes from you. Any data we must keep by law is restricted from further use until the retention period ends, then deleted.
